Step 1: Message Rules

Now that Outlook Express is open, we will need to set up a message rule.  The message rule will check each and every email message that you receive and determine if it is a spam message or not.  It will move those suspected spam messages into a new folder called “Spam.”

To begin setting up your new filters, select Tools from the Outlook Express menubar. Move your mouse down to Message Rules and select (left-click) Mail from the pop-out list.
